High five to Johnsons

8 June 2016

We are delighted to announce a great start to the year with five new lab relocations, and several high profile education projects.

New laboratory relocations

Johnsons have just secured another laboratory relocation, bringing the running total to five so far in 2016. Johnsons offer a complete range of laboratory relocation services, from planning the move, to the safe transportation of delicate instruments and apparatus, to post-move services. We ensure your move is as smooth and stress-free as possible, causing minimal disruption to staff.

Warren Hamlin, Sales Director for Johnsons said, “As the leading lab relocation company in the UK, we have a wide range of experience in this sector. Relocating laboratory equipment is a specialised service which our laboratory move management team are highly qualified to provide. Over the years, we have gained a sophisticated knowledge of both the protective packing that is needed, and the delicate methodology for handling and transporting this type of equipment in a cost-effective way.”

New education moves

In the last few months, we have won several high profile education projects, to include Salford University, Hertfordshire University, and Derby University. We have also won several big School Decants across the UK.

Warren added, “Our success in handling moves for the education sector has helped us become the market leader in this field. Our experience dates back to 2004 when we were heavily involved in the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme. Since, we have moved hundreds of schools, colleges, academies and universities.”

“We have very positive feedback from the end users regarding all the crews involved in the move. Indeed at a steering group meeting this week one of the senior scientist not only praised the move teams but also requested if the same teams could be used for the move into the CL2 building next year.”

The Pirbright Institute

“The Johnsons team worked well with our own internal project team to make the overall move a success. The main phase went without any significant issues, and this was a testament to the close management and supervision of the Johnsons team at both sites during the 3 days of the move.”

Mark Garrod, Redx Pharma

“We have a good working relationship and specifically use Johnsons as they are competitive, always turn up on time with the correct number of operatives, and their removal team is always courteous which matters especially when patients and our staff are affected.”

David Shepherd, Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust

“Johnsons Laboratory Logistics have been providing relocation services to us for a number of years now. They are competitive, reliable and trustworthy.”

Iain Ramsey, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust
